Old Habits Die Super Hard
I know these words seem harsh and some people even feel as if it can be stopped when necessary but I beg to differ. These habits are like addictive little drugs and when you posses those traits, you either surround yourself with like minds or go through 12 steps to get rid of it. When I first realized I had this ability to speak romance, I was so excited because so many of my girlfriends could benefit from man help and my guy friends as well. Unfortunately, it became clear really fast, who wanted help and who wanted to sit in circles with like minded people and be victims. The ones who took me up on my offer are getting married, dating successful and able to focus on the other important things, whereas the ones who didn’t are depressed, gaining weight and separating themselves from their happy friends.
At a certain point you have to realize that what you are doing is not working and try something new. Aggressively try something new, keep an open mind because the only reason you are holding on to your stubbornness is because you have judgments about people who are the opposite of you.
Every time you want to pass judgment on some one, give them a sincere complement instead. Keep doing this and you will change the universe for yourself. The way to change being stubborn is to find someone with the life you want, and take one thing that they are doing, one action and implement it. The goal is to change your patterns for the best.
I asked a very successful attorney her secret for her practice, marriage and kids; she said “just show up.” Discover the actions that you should take to make your life better, “just show up” and do it.
